Born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1969, Mona earned her Master and PhD of Fine Arts at Alexandria University in 1998 and 2004 respectively.  She is a member of several national and international associations and the Associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Alexandria. Mona Magdi Kenawy has been a participant at several group exhibitions both national and international since 1992, as well as 7 Solo Exhibitions from 2006-2013 in Egypt, Italy and France.
